How KreativWP Tests WordPress Themes and Plugins
KreativWP does not treat a feature list, a vendor demo, or an affiliate relationship as a product verdict. This methodology defines what a completed review or comparison must show before we call it tested.
Start with a declared use case
Each review starts with the intended site type, content workflow, editor, required plugins, and the question the evaluation is trying to answer. We do not use a universal winner as the default conclusion.
Record the test environment
Published testing notes must state the WordPress, PHP, theme or plugin, and relevant dependency versions; the host or local environment; and the sample content or configuration used. If a result is not reproducible, it is presented as an observation rather than a benchmark.
Evaluate real workflows
We assess installation, configuration, common editing tasks, responsive behavior, update and maintenance considerations, and compatibility with the declared stack. Performance checks are interpreted alongside the page, hosting, images, and third-party scripts involved.
Separate facts, observations, and recommendations
Official documentation supports factual claims about availability and documented features. Our observations are labelled as such. Recommendations explain the intended use case and trade-offs instead of claiming that a product is best for everyone.
Disclose commercial relationships
Affiliate links are disclosed near relevant content and use the appropriate sponsored relationship markup. A commercial relationship never changes the inclusion criteria, testing notes, or conclusion.
